Homebuyer Education Classes

Free Homebuyer Education classes are open to anyone interested in learning about the home buying process, regardless of income. ACHA’s Homebuyer Education classes are also approved to fulfill the NSP Homebuyer Education class requirement, and include certification of completion. Classes cover the home buying process from start to finish, from “Can I afford to buy a house?” to “I just got the keys!” Topics include:

One-on-one housing counseling provides tailored sessions to fit your individual needs. This includes counseling for personal credit issues, money management and budgeting, as well as an in-depth look at the debt to income ratios used to qualify you for your first home. And there is no time limit for homeownership counseling—we will work with you based on your individual needs to meet your homeownership goals.
